This questionnaire was commissioned by the Lendület Research Group on Reproductive Decisions, funded by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The aim of the research is to map the opinions and attitudes that emerge in Hungarian society about having children. The data was collected by Panelstory Public Opinion Research in April 2024 on the basis of a nationally representative sample of 1,500 respondents. The questionnaire covers issues related to having children, birth and childbirth, and attitudes towards abortion, contraception and artificial insemination.

Possible links between companion animal ownership, relationship practices and reproduction
Dogs have evolved from being mere livestock to becoming companion animals, so much so that many people now regard them as full-fledged family members. In our research, we conducted 28 interviews with women of reproductive age to explore how dog ownership influences the formation of romantic relationships, the challenges of work-life balance, and the coping strategies these women develop. Furthermore, we examine their views on having children, how they envision their future lives, and the role dog ownership plays in shaping their childbearing preferences.
